Calvary Church Yard Sale

Date: April 27, 2024 

Time: 8AM--2PM

Where: Calvary UMC Fellowship Hall

Vendor Setup: 6:30AM--8:00AM

Yard Sale Regulations

1. Calvary Church wil not be responsible for any accidents, property damage, or loss.

2. Lot will open at 6:30AM for set up.

3. Food/drink items wil be sold to benefit the Calvary ASP Mission Team

4. All vendor cars are to be of the lot by 8:00AM. Parking will be available in the old Bank parking lot on Burke Street or the city lot of College St.

5. Sale of pornographic material or alcohol is prohibited. 

6. All sales end at 2:00PM. Vendors must clean/pack up, remove trash and leave premises by 3PM.

Spaces (16x20 or 16x18) are available to rent for $20.00 Limited amount of Tables will be available to rent for $15.00.

[Deadline extended!!  Call Calvary Church--Spaces and tables must be reserved and paid for in full by April 22. ]

Appalachia Service Project Fundraiser

Calvary's Appalachia Service Project Mission team will be providing food and drinks on April 27th at the Calvary Yard sale. The proceeds from the food sales will help with the expenses of the mission team which include lodging, meals and transportation costs. The team will be headed out on June 9th and returning on June 15th.

You can help with this fund raising event by participating in the following ways:

1.  Monetary donations to help purchase drinks, hotdogs, buns, hamburger, chips, etc.

2. Donate baked goods for the bake sale table (cakes, pies, cookies, brownies, cupcakes). If you are donating baked goods, make sure they are on plates or tins that do not need to be returned. There are round plates available in the kitchen if you are baking a round cake that you can have. Baked goods can be dropped off at the church kitchen on Friday, April 26, between the hours of 9 and 4. If you need to drop your items off on Thursday, please call the office to make arrangements to do so.

3.  Stop by and have lunch as you walk through and view the items for sale by the vendors.

Hot Dogs

Steamers 

Barbequed pulled pork sandwiches 

Chips 

Baked goods 

Sodas 

Coffee

Thanks for all you will do to help the mission team make homes warmer, drier and safer for the families in Appalachia.
